Our Young Marines have been hard at work studying their Young Marines Guidebooks, doing Community Service and several other ventures. It has paid off, because this October's Promotion's Ceremony pretty much had something for everyone. Lots of Promotions were awarded, along with ribbons, etc...great job Young Marines!!

Special congratulations goes to Young Marine Master Sergeant Haeg. He is the TCYM Young Marine of the Year! Not only that, but our Battalion Commander, Col. Mike Wilson, has seen fit to appoint YM MSgt. Haeg to the billet of Sergeant Major of the 1st Washington Battalion, Northwest Regiment, of the 6th Young Marine Division. This is a heavy responsibility, but our Battalion Commander has every confidence that YM Haeg will excel in this position. YM MSgt. Haeg's responsibilities are already taking him to new places. Haeg will leave this week for Washington D.C. for a Young Marine symposium with our National YM leaders.

WE ARE VERY PROUD OF ALL THE YOUNG MARINES IN OUR UNIT! Keep up the good work and strive to be the best Young Marine you can be.
