It's very evident by the smaller turnout of Young Marines that it is vacation time and SPACES travel time. Nonetheless, we pulled together and represented our Unit with pride and honor. This paid off, as we were awarded FIRST PLACE in the Marching Division! OORAH YOUNG MARINES! Special thanks to Mr. Carlyle and Mr. Haeg for making this parade a reality.

This was Gunnery Sgt. Bowman's last official parade as a Tri-City Young Marine..you will be missed. If you happen to notice in the photos that follow, there was a tall young man marching along with our Unit, wearing a digital print camo uniform. This was former Tri-City Young Marine Jonathan Williams who recently joined the U.S. Army..he will be deployed to Iraq by mid July..our thoughts and prayers will be with you. Even though he didn't join the Marines, we're still proud of young people that join the various ranks of our military service.
